sweater (under $100 option here) / jeans / booties / bag
Happy Monday babes! Hope you all had a good weekend! We spent the weekend celebrating Mason’s 3rd birthday (it was yesterday). We had all the super hero decorations and lots of new superhero toys were opened. His current favorite is Hulk, and he got a full costume complete with the giant Hulk fists, so we have not been short on entertainment the past couple of days.
A few of you had asked for ways to style these Free People tunics that I love so much. (Side note – the black seems to be selling quick, so grab it now if you want it!) First of all, I know these sweaters are a tad pricey. They were a bit of a splurge for me (two of my three were purchased during a sale) but they quality and the fit is so good. I love how slouchy they are but still hold their original shape. The ribbed fabric makes for the perfect weight sweater too. It’s warm enough to wear in the cooler months, but bot so warm that it has to be 30 degrees out or you will sweat in it.
Don’t worry though, if the price tag is a bit out of reach for your budget, this is a look that’s super easy to recreate with any oversized black turtleneck sweater! I found this one that is very similar and under $100, and also this option is a good one.
I’ve been wanting a pair of leather pants, but I’m not willing to pay what leather pants cost (usually close t0 $1,000). I also don’t think they would actually be very comfortable in a warm and humid city like Houston. SO my newest favorite denim brand has this pair of coated black skinny jeans that give you that leather look. Be sure to size down in any jeans from this brand. I usually wear a 2 or 4 (or 26 or 27), but in these I have to get a 0.
Have a good week babes!
xo, Loren
