Happy Tuesday friends! Sharing one of my favorite types of looks today, a t-shirt dress with a denim jacket! Come spring and summer I live for easy, comfortable outfits like this! T-shirt dresses are my jam because I swear you can wear literally any shoes you want with them, depending on your mood.
I am obsessed with the fit of this camo t-shirt dress. At 5’8″ I’m often sizing up in dresses to add a little extra length. In this one, I was able to get my true size and the length is perfect. I feel like I can feasibly bend down to tie my kids shoes or pick up whatever they’ve dropped for the hundredth time. (Ya feel me moms?) I love it so much I’ve been stalking the brand to see if I can find the same dress in any other colors/patterns.
Now onto my denim jacket. If you don’t own a denim jacket I am telling you now, it is an absolute must. I am ALWAYS grabbing mine before running out the door. Sometimes I need it because restaurants are always super cold, and sometimes I just feel like it’s the perfect finishing touch for my outfit. I have at least 5 denim jackets, but this one is my most classic one. I love the light wash because if I wear it with other denim, it usually has enough of a contrast since most of my denim is medium or dark. The fit is perfect too because it’s not super snug, it has a slightly relaxed fit without being oversized. I love oversized denim jackets too, but for a classic everyday option, this one is great.
Also, you might wondering why I’m posing next to my car. Incase you haven’t caught on from my Instagram posts, I have a partnership with Mercedes-Benz of the Woodlands! I don’t actually own this car, they loan cars out to me to drive around the Woodlands and share on Instagram, and this is the one I’m currently driving. Because I know you guys will ask, it’s a GLC 300. Honestly, I am loving driving it. My husband has even said he may consider getting one for his next car, though that’s a ways away.
