The holidays are my favorite time to shop for new makeup and beauty finds. It seems like tons of fun new palettes and limited edition products come out around this time, and I always find myself wanting to put a little extra effort into my beauty routine around the holidays. I often find myself wondering around the Nordstrom beauty section mentally adding things to my Christmas list. Nordstrom carries all of my favorite brands, so it’s a one-stop shop. Plus, their beauty exclusives for the holidays are always so good!
I created a collage below of some of the things that have caught my eye this year. Some of them are things I own and use regularly, and some are things I’m hoping to grab or get as a gift. But first, I want to tell you about this super easy makeup look I’ve been doing lately.
For the last couple of weeks (if you’ve watched my Instagram stories), I’ve been wearing this gorgeous palette from Charlotte Tilbury. I love it because it’s got an entire face in one palette. There are three eye shadow shades, a highlight and contour shade, and a couple of blush shades. I plan to take this on a cruise we have coming up to simplify my makeup routine and not bring a whole bunch of other stuff.
I’ve been loving this lip combo too. My favorite lip liner of all time is this one (in shade Pillowtalk). It’s the perfect neutral color to wear with most of my lip shades. I’ve been pairing it with this liquid lipstick in the shade Best Actress. I always prefer liquid lip color to sticks, and this one is a really pretty nude brown.
