Happy Monday friends! I am back home with my crew and couldn’t be happier about it! I was in Kansas City this weekend because my college roommate is currently pregnant with her first child, and her baby shower was this weekend. It’s been a long road for her to get here, so it was the perfect excuse for me to fly up to hang out with her since I haven’t seen her since she got married like four years ago.

Even better, this dress is a dupe of a Free People dress I actually almost bought before finding this one! There are two things I love about this one over the Free People one. First is the fabric. It’s this stretchy silky fabric that is perfect for warm weather, and it could totally double as a swim cover up. I also love that if you aren’t feeling the super plunging neckline, it has a hook and eye closure (which I have closed in these pictures) to cover you up a little!
I also wanted to talk a little about these gorgeous wedges, because they are a designer dupe as well! For YEARS I have loved all of the Valentino Rockstud collection, but obviously the price tag is pretty high. I spotted these babes at DSW and knew I needed them! They come in 5 colors, the red and the white being new additions that I am eyeing hard! Haha. For sizing though, I recommend going up half a size. The toe part is pretty tight! But you can’t beat the price on these, right at $70 compared to like $800 or whatever the Valentino ones are!
