Happy Monday friends!! I totally meant to get this post up, like, last week on Thursday. I Have been SO busy the last few weeks that I’ve totally been slacking on here! I hosted a baby shower for my sister-in-law on Saturday (can’t wait to meet my sweet niece!) and was busy putting together a bunch of last minute decorations. Anyone else a bit of a procrastinator? I have always been that way, but I swear things turn out better that way for me. Whatever works I guess! I was really excited to put this shower together, I had so much fun planning it.
This black maxi dress is a definite closet staple. It’s an easy, comfortable knit fabric, and a steal for under $50. I got my regular size small, but I feel like I could have sized down one (the straps are adjustable though). I love wearing pieces like this in the summer to just throw on when I’m rushed trying to choose an outfit.
In the summer, I pretty much always carry a denim jacket with me or just leave one in my car. I certainly don’t need it outside most days, but all the stores and restaurants are FREEZING during the summer because the a/c is cranked so high. So I usually keep one on hand to grab before going inside, just in case! I probably have about six denim jackets (I have a problem), but this one was my most recent purchase (I am wearing an XS).
