I’ve talked about my love for shoulder-baring tops before. This top has been been great for the warm fall weather of Houston. I have worn it a ton…sometimes two days in a row! 🙂 The peplum hem is wonderful for hiding what may not be a super flat stomach…because…#momlife. Ha! For real though, I love tops with this silhouette because they are flattering while still hiding the part of my body that I don’t love to show off.
For this look I went with a distressed boyfriend fit denim to pair the top with. I love the girly, feminine feel of the top, against something that’s a little less feminine. I’ve also been wearing it with white jeans and sandals (several weeks ago) and black jeans with leopard flats. This is a look I don’t get to wear super often, because let’s be honest, the heels I’m wearing here aren’t kid-friendly, or all that comfortable for that matter. But I love this style of shoe and the chic, minimalist look it gives to an outfit. This would be more of a date night look for me.
For the accessories I went with my favorite earrings of the moment, this pair from Loren Hope, and my go-to statement ring. I would say I hope I get to wear this top more before it gets too cold out…but in Houston I don’t see that being an issue! 🙂
