I feel like I say this all the time, but I’ve been slacking on the blog posts lately! The Reward Style conference is this weekend and I’ve been running around like a crazy person doing everything I can to prep for that! As of last week I had like 3 outfits nailed down, and as of this week I have about 100 more options. Needless to say, I may have over done it. But I can’t wait to share them with y’all!
I have recently become obsessed with this brand of dresses you guys. I love the idea of a mini dress, but at 5’8″ you can imagine, it’s sometimes a little risky. Plus add on the fact that I have two young kids, and well, it doesn’t usually work out. This brand has become a favorite because a lot of their dresses are actually short in the front and sides and a little longer in the back. That extra back length is just what I need to feel a little more comfortable in a shorter dress.
I also just generally love the fit of their dresses. They always make me feel super girly and I love the smocked waist that’s on most of their styles. It makes the dress fit perfectly but is also really comfortable (and hides the mom pooch!).
I feel like the colors of this one make it super versatile. I actually wore this to a baby shower when it was still super cold out with some grey over the knee boots and my leather jacket. You could also wear it with heels for an option to wear to a bridal shower or spring wedding. And I’m sure at some point you’ll see my style it with flat sandals.
Another thing I’m loving lately is this clear tote. I was a little unsure when I ordered it, but every time I use it, I love it! It actually holds quite a bit and is just a really from change from your typical tote bag.
