I’m always telling myself I won’t buy anymore sweaters. We live in Houston. It’s hot here most of the time. When we recently moved into our new house, while we were unpacking our closet we realized that both my husband and I own way more fall/winter clothes than spring/summer ones. Stupid, right? Yet I am always buying new sweaters. I was able to get away with it on the day we shot these photos though. It was only like 65 degrees out and was probably the coolest day we’ve had yet. Then the next day it was hot again. 🙁 Come on fall!!!!
I love love love this pretty blush pink color. This sweater also has a little bit of an oversized fit which I am always a fan of. I am actually wearing an XS here (it’s been a while since I could say that!) but probably could have gotten away with a small too. What I love most about this blush color is that it is ALMOST a neutral. I can go with so many different things since it’s a lighter pink. Grey, black, light denim, dark denim, olive, navy…seriously almost anything.
For this look I wanted to keep all of the colors very soft. I went with my grey distressed skinny jeans, and added in more neutral tones with nude pumps and a stone colored crossbody bag. I know I’ve posted about this bag before, but it’s such a great year-round option. It has sort of a stone color, with more of cooler undertones than warm, so it can transition between seasons really well. I find a lot of the time that browns with warmer undertones make me feel like it’s more of a fall color than anything else. This bag is also a great size. I can actually fit my normal wallet, with sunglasses, keys, my phone, and some lip gloss.
