Okay…sorry for literally the same pose in every picture haha! This was one of the first times I have ever shot in public! If you could have only seen the sideshow to my right that was happening during this shoot…Mason was in his carseat and Liv was running around like a nut between me and him telling me “baby spit”, all while Brad is standing in between parked cars on the street taking the pictures. It was a scene for sure. But hey, we got it!
My love for off the shoulder anything continues with this post. I snagged this fun little top at a boutique in Kansas City when we were there last month for the Big 12 Tournament. Actually, I got these shorts at the same boutique. I love the print and little ruffle details on this top. And these shorts were the perfect fit for me since they have a slightly higher rise (that way a lot of shorter length tops won’t show my stomach, something I’m not quite into 6 months after having a baby), and weren’t too short for cutoffs. I went with my nude studded gladiators and finished off the look with this AMAZING fringed saddle bag from Coach.
I wore this look out to lunch this past Saturday in downtown Houston with my little fam (PS – Houston friends, if you haven’t tried the beef jerky margarita at El Big Bad, you need to. I know it sounds weird, just try it!).
