I love shirt dresses and I love a buffalo check pattern. This dress has both! I actually bought this dress while I was still pregnant, knowing good and well I wouldn’t be able to wear it until after I had my son. I am so glad I bought it though, it was worth the wait! I love it paired with these taupe booties. These are my favorite ankle boots I own because of where they hit on my leg. They come up slightly above my ankle, which I think helps to keep my legs from looking so chopped off. This is a great causal look for the holidays. I actually wore this outfit for our family Christmas gathering which my in-laws last weekend. They live in Florida so they came in early to celebrate with us this year. I was able to run around my house cooking and preparing our meal and stay somewhat comfortable in this outfit! Though I must confess, I did take my boots off toward the end to give my feet a rest!
