Okay y’all, I’m finally managing to get a new post up. I came down with a cold, or sinus infection, or something last week and just haven’t been able to shake it! An entire week later, I am FINALLY starting to feel better. It’s also been raining for like 4 days straight here in Houston, so shooting has been nearly impossible. My BFF and I finally managed to shoot a few looks yesterday, despite the drizzling rain! So, if I look cold in any of these pictures, I AM! Haha!
Okay, so is anyone else really loving this whole bell sleeve trend? I am so into it! I admit, I hadn’t tried it until now because I am ALWAYS pushing my sleeves up, which you can’t really do with these kind of sleeves. #momlife But anyway, now that I’ve tried it, I love it!
The sweater I’m wearing in this post is from Make Me Chic and is only $30, so perfect for trying something new without spending a ton. It says it is one size fits all. I am usually about a size small, sometimes a medium if I’m looking for a slouchier fit (dress size 4), and I love the way it fits me. It’s a little slouchy but not too big. This burgundy color is one of my favorites for fall, too!
For this post I paired it with some black distressed skinnies and peep toe booties. There are so many different ways I could have styled this, but I wanted an easy, casual look since that is how I dress most of the time! For jewelry, I didn’t do too much. I just added this adjustable necklace from Kendra Scott, and wore it as a choker (another trend I’ve been loving). I am actually really loving this outfit and will probably be repeating it quite a few times!
xo, Loren
