I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was so much fun. This was the first year that our oldest (my almost 3 year-old daughter) could somewhat grasp the concept of Santa. In fact, we were so excited to see her face on Christmas morning that we had a bit of trouble sleeping and were super exhausted all day Christmas Day, but it was so worth it. One of her favorite gifts Santa brought her was a Disney princess castle, and I swear, her jaw dropped when she saw it. Our son is only 1, so he didn’t quite grasp the concept of what was going on, but he was still definitely very surprised/confused when we brought him downstairs and his usual play area (our living room) was filled with toys for him and his sister. I have always loved Christmas, but Christmas with littles is even more special!
Okay, I know I’ve been saying this a lot lately…but this is one of my favorite outfits. I have always been a lover of neutral colors, so this outfit totally works for my usual go-to style. Neutral colors are what I usually feel the most comfortable and the most beautiful in.
I had been wanting to find a good camel-colored sweater, so when I stumbled upon this one, I ordered it immediately. Now this exact sweater has since sold out, but the similar one I linked is every bit as good. In fact, I have it in black, and love it (linked here). And by the way, if you’re looking for a good, classic, black pair of skinny jeans, I highly recommend you invest in this pair. I have had these jeans for a few years and absolutely love them. The fabric is so soft, and the amount of stretch is perfect. They haven’t faded a bit, despite me washing them a million times. My favorite thing about them is that they are high-rise, which means I can actually tuck shirts in if I want to!
I added a slight pop of color to this look with one of my favorite pairs of booties. I bought these several months ago, but when I saw these booties came in this gorgeous burgundy color with the gold accents, there was no way I could resist them. And surprisingly, I actually wear them quite a bit. I guess when you love neutrals, it’s easy to play up your look with a colorful shoe! I finished off this look with a few pieces of rose gold jewelry my hubby got me for my birthday this year.
