Chambray + Maxi

FINALLY managed to get a new post up! Between traveling, getting sick, the rain, and just being pregnant and tired I just couldn’t make it happen! Luckily I had a few moments to shoot this look after my hubby came home from work…just before another storm rolled in!

Those of you who know me, know I have a love for chambray shirts. While I do have a couple of maternity ones, I have so many that I wish I could wear while pregnant, especially this sleeveless one since it is so hot here in Houston! I wanted to find a way to make them work, so I figured why not wear them over a maxi?! I like how it gives both the maxi dress and the chambray shirt a different look. I chose this red striped maxi dress I bought from Gap last year because I’ve been feeling the patriotic looks lately with the 4th of July coming up! My favorite thing about this look? Not a single thing I’m wearing is maternity! It’s always exciting when I find pieces I already have that I can rework to wear while pregnant!
