Yay for Friday!! Am I right?! I’m running around doing some last minute things before heading to New Orleans to meet up with my hubby (he’s already there on business) and my BFF to celebrate our 30th birthdays! I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty much looking forward to eating and drinking my way through the French Quarter!
But before I get lost in plates of beignets and shrimp and crawfish, I had to share this look with y’all! My top is from Banana Republic and I am obsessed with it! I love the chic, but cool look of a button-down shirt for women, but sometimes I do want something that feels just a little more feminine. This top is the perfect combination, thans to the cutest bow detail at the cuff. I love how it gives the sleeves a little bit of a bell shape.
I feel like the styling options are endless for this top. You could wear it with literally anything. Some ankle-length skinny pants or a pencil skirt would be so chic for workwear. It would be so cute with an a-line mini and some booties too. Since I’m a “jeans girl” and live in jeans, that’s what I paired it with for this look. I went with a fun block heel here, but it could also be dressed down a little with some leopard flats or a cute pair of flat mules.
