Happy Tuesday friends! I hope your week is going a little more smoothly than mine. We are gearing up for a trip to Florida this weekend and I feel like I have a million things to do and I am rapidly running out of time to do it all. Being a stay-at-home mom is great if you never want to accomplish anything (eyeroll). Seriously, I love my kids, but MAN it’s hard to accomplish things when they are awake. We also had a swim lesson today, and y’all, the level of hysterics coming from my kids was unreal. You would have thought they were being tortured. There was full on crying and screaming about wanting mommy and wanting to go home. Meanwhile, other kids (younger than mine, mind you) are diving head first into the pool like freaking dolphins. I can’t y’all. I hate swim lessons. But they are a necessary evil.
ANYWAY. Now that I’ve gotten that rant out of my system, I’ll tell you about this outfit. So this little coral two-piece set was pretty much love at first sight. Which is weird, given that this outfit is nothing like anything I typically wear. I don’t know, I guess I was feeling adventurous the day I ordered it, but I kind of love it. (PS – it comes in black and white too.) As much as I love this set, I have two complaints. The first is that the strapless top accentuates my arm-pit fat a bit more than I’d like, but hey, this is my life. (Internet trolls back off. I’m aware it’s a thing and I don’t need to hear it from you.) The other complaint is that the skirt is a little on the sheer side. To remedy that though I just bought a super thing nude skirt slip that basically has no seams so it lays perfectly flat under stuff like this. I’ll link it here for y’all. Also, I’m wearing a small.
Also, I can’t remember if I’ve shared these shoes with y’all on here yet, but I am obsessed with them. They are such a fun shoe for spring and summer with the raffia details. And the blue color makes them pretty much neutral so they pair well with a lot. I may be packing them to wear this weekend for Easter, if I can ever decide which dress I want to wear. Anyway, they also come in black, and a really pretty orange option.
I’m off to, well, bed. I am over today and need sleep. We had to have an A/C repair done this evening and the guy wasn’t even able to show up until after 6pm, and he just left around 8:30. Bless his hear, I could tell he was tired and ready to go home. So thankful he fixed our A/C though because the upstairs was getting HOT. It hasn’t really worked quite right since we moved in so they had to just make a series of adjustments/fixes. Anyway, for real now, I’m going to bed. Goodnight y’all!
