Happy Tuesday you guys! My house is in shambles over here, so get ready for this crazy story. So last week, my sweet little one year old niece Emma had a little stomach bug overnight. That was on like maybe Thursday of last week. Well, my family (us, my brother’s family, and my parents) all had dinner at our house on Saturday. And, of course, the baby was passed around and loved on by everyone.
Fast forward to Sunday night, apparently my brother and my sister-in-law were sick all night, so my mom got my niece and brought her to my parents’ house so they could rest. Also Sunday night, Mason got sick, but honestly this happens from time to time because he isn’t the most regular thanks to his horrible diet, so I didn’t think much of it.
Well, Monday afternoon, I was supposed to take my kids over to my parents house to spend the night. I got within 5 minutes of my parents’ house and my mom texted me saying she feels like she is going to be sick. About 20 minutes before getting her text, Brad had texted me saying the same thing. So I took my kids back home and put them down for a nap, during which, Liv woke up vomiting, and continued to do so the rest of the evening. Then my mom tells me my dad isn’t feeling well.
SO, at this point, I’m the only one who hasn’t felt the effects of this bug, and I am crossing everything in my body in hopes that I don’t get it. A bunch of you on Instagram told me that drinking 100% grape juice wards off stomach bugs. So I ran to the store this morning at 7:30am in my pajamas and have been chugging it ever since!
Ok, enough about that. This outfit is full of pieces I purchased from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But, as I’m sure most of you have heard by now, so many things are sold out, including everything in this outfit. But I’ve found some similar items to help you recreate the look using similar pieces, that I’ve linked at the end of this post in a product carousel.
xo, Loren
