vest / sweater / leggings / boots / bag / hat
This cold front in Houston is giving me all the fall feels y’all! I shot this look on Monday and actually didn’t sweat! Like, what is this life?! It was amazing.
You guys know how much I love shopping at Nordstrom, and the main reason is because it’s a one stop shop. I can get all different types of clothing, shoes, AND accessories at the same place, making life so much easier than running around to different stores.
When the cool weather hits, outfits like this are everything. I’m always throwing stuff like this on to run my kids to school, or go out to breakfast as a family on Saturday mornings.
I LOVE layering with vests. Since the falls/winters here aren’t super chilly, a full-on coat is rarely needed. I love vests because they aren’t as bulky and warm when you get inside places. This fleece vest is my most recent addition. I love this neutral color because I can layer pretty much any color underneath it, but it also comes in a few other options. I sized up to a medium in this one, for reference.
I know I’ve told y’all before about my love for these faux leather leggings. I probably wear them at least three times a week. Sometimes super casual like this, sometimes with a chic tunic sweater and over the knee boots. They even look cute with sneakers! However you style them, they are a wardrobe staple for sure!
Because I love throwing vests on during this time of year, I’m always needing lightweight long-sleeve tees/sweaters to wear underneath. This black one is perfect for layering. And, you can’t beat the price!
I have been posting this black bag a lot lately and have gotten so many questions from you all asking how I like it! So here you go: I LOVE it. The pockets on the inside are everything. If you like to keep your bags organized, this one is amazing. Mine is the medium size, but it also comes in a larger option (that fits a laptop), and a mini option. My favorite thing about it though, is that it can also be worn as a backpack.
Saving my favorite for last, can we talk about these leopard rainboots?! I am OBSESSED. I added them to my cart as soon as I saw they existed. These are by Hunter, BUT they are not the original fit. They have a slimmer fit than the originals, so if you are in between sizes, I recommend going up!
