coat (under $80!) / top / jeans / boots / hat / bag
Happy Monday babes! Does anyone else feel like a good red and green plaid just gives you all the holiday feels? I swear, the amount of plaid scarves, flannels, blankets, pillows, etc. that I’ve bought over the years for Christmas is a bit much, but I just can’t resist!
I had a completely different outfit originally planned for this post, but as I was walking out of Nordstrom last week, this coat caught my eye! My favorite thing about shopping at Nordstrom (as I have shared with y’all before) is that you can find amazing pieces in a bunch of different price ranges. Can you believe this cute coat is under $100?! Because I couldn’t! It’s a steal for $78! FYI, it runs a little on the larger side, but I got my true size small.
Underneath I’m wearing just a simple layering top that’s also a great price at just $25. I did size up to a US 8 in this one thought so I wouldn’t have as tight of a fit. This one also comes in a few other colors.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I have a strong love for Madewell jeans. I was so excited when Nordstrom started carrying the brand! My favorite fit is their classic 9-inch rise, skinny jeans, which is what this pair is. As far as size, I’d say they run true to size or you could even size down one.
The coat is my favorite part of this outfit, but these lace-up booties are a close second. It seems like lace-up or combat boots are a huge trend right now, but what I love about this pair is that they are a little sleeker so you can style them with a more rugged outfit or a more polished one. Also, be sure to go with a tight fit (I got my usual size 7.5) because if you get them too big your foot will slide down. Since mine fit tighter, I can actually walk around all day in these despite how tall the heel is!
I’ll be sharing more of my holiday picks with y’all over the next couple of weeks, but in the meantime, definitely check out Nordstrom’s website! They have so many cute holiday pieces right now!
