This set of photos was difficult to shoot because the sun kept coming out from behind some clouds then going back in again, hence the weird lighting in some of them. Of course my husband and I are by no means knowledgeable photographers (he usually takes all of my pictures), so that definitely didn’t help. I plan to take a class this summer on photography, so hopefully I can learn some tips and tricks!
I have been yearning for a tropical/beach vacation lately. Unfortunately, I won’t be going on one until next summer. So until then, I just have to wear clothes that make me feel like I’m on vacation, and this dress does just that! When the stylist at Nordstrom first put this in my dressing room, I wasn’t so sure I would like it. It’s really not like anything I would typically pick out. Once I slipped it on though, I kind of liked the way it looked. Maybe it was the baby bump, or maybe I was just REALLY longing for a vacation that particular day, but I decided to take it home with me. 🙂 I wanted to keep the vacation feel going so I paired it with my panama hat and this bright tote from Stella & Dot. I kept it simple with the rest of the accessories, just a few stacked bracelets, some brown wedges and aviator sunnies!
