Loren’s Look: cami / skirt / shoes / bag / earrings
Brad’s Look: shirt / similar jeans / shoes
Happy Wednesday guys! Half way through the week! I feel like I’ve been going non-stop since like last Friday so I’m so happy to finally get a new post up. And this one is super fun because obviously my hubby is making an appearance. It actually worked out super well because we took these photos the day before our 7th anniversary and the purpose is to share our date night style, so it seemed fitting!
Today I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share these date night looks! You guys know Nordstrom is my go-to for pretty much everything, but did you know it’s my husband’s favorite place to shop too? We both love that you can buy clothes for literally any occasion there.
I’m actually going to start with Brad’s look first, because he is wearing one of his absolute favorite brands, Mizzen and Main. He discovered these shirts a couple of years ago and they rapidly became his favorites. The best thing about them is that they look like a dress shirt, but are made of a unique moisture-wicking fabric that also has a bit of stretch to it. For anyone who has ever lived in a hot and humid climate like Houston, you know how amazing a fabric like that can be on a hot day, especially when in dress clothes. Brad says these shirts are by far his most comfortable for when he wants to wear something nicer than a t-shirt.
I’m wearing a few of my favorites types of pieces as well. These lace camis are a wardrobe staple. I have black and white for everyday basics, but had to grab this one in this fun orange color for spring and summer. I love that this top can be worn by itself or layered under a jacket, blazer, or cardigan. Plus, it’s a steal for under $50.
I also seem to be drawn to these suede skirts from BLANKNYC. I’ve actually bought a couple of others during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in past years. I found this one just a couple weeks ago and love that the color works for spring time since it’s a little on the lighter side. Plus this is a great piece to wear now in the spring, then style with some darker colors and boots when fall rolls around.
xo,
Loren
