Happy Thursday dolls! Okay, so if y’all remember, I mentioned a few posts back that we are doing an 8 week vegan meal plan. The only reason we are doing vegan is because the girl who put together the meal plan is vegan, but when we go out we sometimes still eat animal products. Anyway, I just wanted to give y’all an update on it, because to my surprise, I’m not totally hating it! The hardest part about it is that there is a LOT of cooking or just food prep. I feel like I’m constantly having to look ahead on our menu to see if there is something I need to prepare for the next day so that Brad can actually take what he needs to work with him.
That being said, I can already tell that I feel better on it. I’m definitely sleeping better, which hasn’t happened for me pretty much since before getting pregnant with Liv. I have been working out a little (I started BBG), and I feel like it makes it slightly easier to work out. Don’t get me wrong, I still struggle through the workout because my body basically feels like jello half way through, but I just feel better while I’m doing it. I can already tell a slight difference in my body too, which is encouraging.
We will not maintain a vegan diet beyond this 8 week challenge, but if anything I hope to take away better eating habits from it. I already feel like when we do go out, it has helped me to better understand how to order to maintain a balanced diet. I just want to be able (and willing) to make healthier food choices going forward, and so far, I have been able to since eating healthy has just made me feel so much better.
Okay, enough about my eating habits, let’s talk about this adorable jumpsuit! Jumpsuits are my jam y’all, and immediately fell in love with this one. I can have a hard time with them because of my height. A lot of jumpsuits end up being too short in the torso, and I’m not going to lie, this one was close. Luckily, this one has adjustable straps making the correct fit a little easier to achieve. The legs on this one are just a tad short, but I like it too much to care. I’m wearing heels with this look, but I’m thinking something flatter would be cute too.
