Happy Thursday friends! I’m off this morning to shoot a fun little project with Nordstrom that I can’t wait to share with y’all! After several weeks of nothing but rain and gloom, we have finally had a few nice days this week, and it’s giving me all the spring feels! I think I almost forgot what it was like to feel the sun’s warmth on my skin.
I shot a whole bunch of spring looks on Monday and this is the first one I’m sharing with y’all! I literally just picked this top up the day before shooting it. It’s under $50 and so perfect for spring and summer. I love the ruched detailing on the sleeves. I think it will also be super cute paired with some denim shorts and sandals!
Also, I want to tell y’all about these wedges. Unfortunately, I think they are pretty much sold out everywhere. BUT, I did come across this pair that looks VERY similar. Anyway, my point is, I find wedges to be hard to wear. I know pretty much everyone wears them, but super tall ones always seem to make me look “heavy”. I don’t mean like overweight, but like it’s just too much mass at my feet.
I do have the Marc Fisher ones that everybody has, and sometimes they work, but sometimes they just look like too much. I love this pair that I’m wearing here because they aren’t as tall, so I feel like they don’t look quite as clunky. I’m 5’8″, so when I wear super tall shoes I’m close to 6 feet tall, or over it. For me, these are a great alternative to all the sky-high wedges out there.
Okay y’all, last thing…I get a lot of questions about this bag. I know I’ve raved about it on here before, but I can’t even tell y’all how much I love it. It’s seriously the best spring/summer tote. And the fact that it has a shoulder strap too is everything. So yes, I definitely recommend this bag for those of you who have asked about it.
