Fall is by far my favorite season. I know, too bad I live in Houston, right? But I just love this time of year and everything that comes with it. For as long as I can remember, fall fashion has always been my favorite. It’s the start of boots, scarves, hats, jackets…all of my favorite things. So today I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite picks for this fall. A lot of these I already own and I know they are going to be staples for me in the coming months!
I love hats. Love them. Yet where I live if you wear one like this right now you look like a crazy person because it’s just so hot. But when it cools off hats are going to be my jam! I love this neutral option. It is gray, but can easily go with most tans and browns as well!
Scarves are always the perfect finishing touch to an outfit that you feel like just needs a little something extra. I love the colors in this scarf. Perfect for this time of year!
I already own this gray cold shoulder tunic sweater. To be honest, on me, it’s not much of a tunic. But still, I love it for fall. Seriously, if it has a cold shoulder and it’s a sweater, I WILL buy it. I can’t wait to wear it with some black jeans and over the knee boots if it ever cools off!
I also already own this camo jacket and it. is. EVERYTHING. I am so obsessed with this piece. It’s got such a great fit and the fabric is so relaxed that the jacket just drapes effortlessly over your body. There are not many outerwear pieces you can say that about. I also really love that it is sort of a faded camo, not too obvious, allowing it to stay somewhat neutral when styling it!
For years I have been coveting the Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots, but $800 on one pair of shoes is a lot for me! I love this pair from Sole Society because they are SO similar to the designer pair, but these only cost $150!
As soon as this Gigi New York crossbody came out this season I was in love with it. My hubby actually ordered it for me without telling me, and I am so excited about it! The color is a nice mix of nude and gray, so it’s a great neutral that can go with a lot of different color tones.
Clearly velvet is going to be a huge trend this fall, and I love it. I have seen so many great pieces…blazers, high-heeled booties, etc. None of which are super practical for me and my lifestyle. (I am a mom to two very young kids if you don’t know, so casual is best for me.) I spotted these gorgeous burgundy velvet flats while out the other day. I haven’t bought them yet, but I keep thinking I should go back and get them!
I just recently ordered this necklace from Bauble Bar and I can’t’ wait for it to come in. My favorite thing about it is that it is a layered piece that can be worn different ways. There are two pieces, a choker and a bib necklace, so you can wear each of those separately or both of them together. I have been wanting to try out the choker trend, so I figured this would be a fun way to do it!
I know, I know…I posted two cold shoulder sweaters. But they really are a favorite. So cozy but sexy at the same time! I love neutrals, and I think this ivory option probably needs to find it’s way into my closet!
If you’ve read my blog before, it’s no secret that AG Jeans are by far my favorite brand of denim. I really like this pair! They are a distressed black, so the darkness isn’t too harsh. Almost between a black and a gray. And of course, I love a distressed jean.
I am so loving this open side bootie trend that’s happening right now. I actually purchased a pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale that I wear all the time, but they are almost completely sold out. This pair is similar and still in stock! Seriously, I feel like you can wear these with almost anything!
