We had family pictures taken a few weeks ago and I am SO happy with how they turned out. I used my girl Julia Arceri for our photographer and she is so good!
We took pictures with my whole family, which included my parents and my brother and his wife and daughter. I love that we got some of everyone and individual families, us with each kid, etc. We also got some really cute ones of my parents with the kids, but there are so many that I can’t share them all!
One of the questions I get asked a lot is what to wear for family pictures. I am not super into the matchy-matchy outfits where everyone wears exactly the same thing. Instead I like to pick a couple colors that look good together, then add in a few neutrals to complement them and let everyone come up with their own outfit. For this session, I told everyone (they put me in charge, I’m not that bossy….well, maybe I am) to stick to dark green, burgundy, and neutral colors like black, ivory, tans/browns, and dark denim. It was perfect because we had a little bit of everything, and I feel like everyone’s outfits complemented each others’.
