Apparently I just can’t get enough of my faux fur vest this season. I think it’s because it’s just so easy to throw on over almost anything. I feel like it always makes the outfit look a little more chic. Plus, I am a big fan of vests for Houston winters because it can get chilly, but not always cold enough for a full coat, so the vest adds the perfect amount of warmth. I bought this plaid top from Madewell back in the fall, and I wear it all the time. It is not flannel (another plus for Houston weather), so it can be worn a lot more often than some of my flannels. Usually with this shirt I will wear a brown or tan riding boot, but I felt like with the faux fur vest the over-the-knee boots made it look more chic.
