sweater / jeans / boots / bag / similar hat
Behold, my favorite Free People sweater OF ALL TIME. Every year Free People seems to come out with a few pieces that come in tons of colors and sell out everywhere. I feel like it’s usually a sweater and some sort of thermal top. Last year, this sweater, their Softly Structured Tunic, was a big hit, so I was thrilled when I saw it in new colors during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
I’m not sure if this is something I should be proud of or not, but I now own this top is 5 colors. I’ve got the basics covered, ivory, grey, and black, and this year added this red and a sort of rusty brown color to my collection. I have worn mine with everything from flippy mini skirts, to jeans, to leggings, because they literally look good with everything.
The oversized fit is perfect. Oversized enough for that slouchy look, but still has enough shape to not look like you’re swimming in a cozy sweater. These also can be dressed up or down, and look super chic either way. This past spring I went to Kansas City to visit a friend during March, so it was still super cold. I packed this sweater in the three colors I had at the time and just wore these the whole weekend. I just threw in a pair of skinny jeans, my faux leather leggings, and some sneakers and boots. No regrets. And it made packing super easy!
