Sorry for the brief hiatus there for a while! I am finally getting back into the swing of things after giving birth to our baby boy, Mason! And prior to that I pretty much stopped posting because I was too uncomfortable to even put an outfit together haha! Anyway, it feels good to be back. Of course my body is certainly not back to what it was before my pregnancy, but I’m happy to start feeling like my old self again.
I wanted to keep it simple for this post. I love a good, slouchy ivory sweater. I picked this one up while shopping for a top for our newborn pictures, and it is perfect because it is just loose enough to somewhat disguise what is left of my baby belly. I love it with these gray booties (which are definitely one of my favorite pairs of shoes in my closet right now) and super dark skinny jeans. I am SO obsessed with this burgundy color right now, and this bag is a steal for less than $70! I love the pop of color it gives to this look, without being too overpowering. I’ve also been loving hats lately, especially because it’s been kind of rainy and dreary in Houston lately, so they are a good way to avoid a bad hair day from the rain! 🙂 I feel like this look might the one of my go-to’s over the next few weeks.
