Happy Friday babes! Today’s post is a little bit different because I’m talking all about the upcoming Wine & Food Week presented by HEB that’s going on in my neck of the woods next week! So next week, on the north side of Houston in The Woodlands, there is a week’s worth of different events, catering to all us foodies and winos! There is a different event every day next week, starting Tuesday, June 5th through Sunday, June 10th, all of which are listed here. I’ll highlight the events below, but be sure to click that link for the full list!
The week kicks off Tuesday with It’s a Guy Thing, a guys’ night full of good wines and craft beers at The Woodlands Country Club.
Wednesday you can Wine & Dine at Kirby’s Steakhouse out here in The Woodlands (I’ve been y’all, it’s good). This event features a 4-course dinner and wine pairings from Meeker Wines.
Thursday night (one of my favorites) is the HEB Wine Walk at Market Street – The Woodlands. I went to this event last year y’all, and it is a blast. This year I’m hiring a babysitter (instead of pushing a double stroller) and an Uber driver FOR SURE.
Remember that guys’ event the week is starting off with? Don’t worry ladies, we aren’t being left out! On Friday there is the Ladies of Vine, Tasting Panel & Luncheon at The Club at Carlton Woods including a panel of all women winemakers to take you through a wine tasting and delicious lunch.
Friday evening brings another event that I am super excited to attend this year called Sips, Suds, & Tacos. I’m sorry, did someone say tacos?! Y’all know I’m there. Located at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, event-goers will enjoy a variety of tacos, beer, & wine all accompanied by live music.
Saturday afternoon through evening is an event any wine collector would want to attend, the Platinum Wine Vault Collectors Tasting. This event will be held in the Montgomery Ballroom of The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
Also Saturday evening is another event I’m really looking forward to, The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase. For this event, guests get dressed up for an elegant culinary event full of chefs’ specialties and fine wines.
Sunday closes the week of festivities with a Brunch at Robard’s Steakhouse and a sundown concert and poetry reading at Bernhardt Winery.
Okay, now that we’ve gotten through all the fun stuff, I’ll tell y’all about this dress. I got this little cutie from a local boutique here in The Woodlands called Carrie Ann. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me post about it. I don’t have a link for this dress, BUT if you want to buy it and aren’t local, she does do phone or PayPal orders!
