HAPPY FRIDAY!! This was definitely one of those weeks where the days felt long but the week as a whole sort of flew by. Either way, I’m thankful that weekend is on the horizon! I have a love/hate relationship with this time change. I hate it it threw us all off this last week, but I sort of love that it doesn’t get dark until later! Makes for the perfect patio evenings!
I have been on a major dresses with sneakers kick you guys. Ever since I got my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers I have wanted to style them with everything, and I especially love how they look with feminine dresses. I have had tons of questions on Instagram from you guys about these sneakers – sizing info, if I like them, comfort, worth the price, etc. So here you go… I LOVE THEM. I want to buy another pair so badly. I think they are extremely comfortable. I often wear them all day without ever taking them off, and no, I don’t wear socks with them. As far as the size, I’m kind of a 7.5. I first ordered the 7 (they only come in whole sizes) and they were definitely too tight. So I exchanged them for the 8 and they fit much better. Now for the big question, are they worth the price? Probably not. As obsessed as I am with them and as much as I want another pair, they are EXPENSIVE for a sneaker. If you’re looking at it from a practical point of view, you can CERTAINLY find a less expensive option and achieve the same look and comfort level. That being said, I’m that completely impractical idiot who would buy another pair! Haha!
Okay, moving on to this dress. I have been buying quite a few dresses like this lately because I just think they are so versatile. I obviously dressed it down here with my sneakers and denim jacket, but I would also wear this cutie with some nude block heeled sandals and some statement earrings to a baby or bridal shower (or church), or with flat slide sandals and my straw hat for a vacation look.
