Brad’s Outfit: sweater / dress shirt / jeans / shoes
My Outfit: jumpsuit / heels / earrings / bag
It’s about time this guy made an appearance on my blog, right?! He may or may not be really excited about his debut post, so if you see him around, be sure to mention it! 😉
Today I’m talking all about his and hers holiday styles with our favorite retailer, Nordstrom. You guys know it’s my favorite place to shop, but lately it’s been Brad’s go-to as well.
If you guys don’t shop for your man at Nordstrom, you should! Brad’s favorite pieces are usually Nordstrom’s own from the Nordstrom Men’s Shop. We don’t typically have any holiday gatherings that require cocktail attire (though I’m usually a little extra anyway), so Brad tends to stick to a nice pair of jeans with a dress shirt, sweater, or combo of the two.
His favorite dress shirts (which he has to wear for work every day) are the Nordstrom Men’s Shop Tech-Smart shirts. It’s basically a dress shirt in a breathable moisture-wicking fabric, and where we live shirts like that are everything. He prefers the trim fit but they also come in a more classic fit and obviously tons of patterns and colors. But the best part is the price. Dress shirts can get pricey, and these are all under $100. Another favorite of Brad’s are these Nordstrom quarter-zip pullovers. He actually just requested this exact one in couple more colors for Christmas!Â
I love this jumpsuit I’m wearing for a fun holiday party outfit. Funny story, my mom actually bought the same one! (We do that more often than you would think.) I love jumpsuits just do to something different than another holiday dress. I really love that this one is velvet, and this gorgeous green velvet at that! It also has a fun tie detail that crosses in the back then comes around to the front (to hide all the indulging I’ve done lately in holiday sweets haha).
My sparkly pumps are the perfect holiday shoe, and I just saw that Nordstrom has them on sale now as part of their Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. This color is perfect neutral. I also love wearing them with jeans for a more casual holiday party look.
