It’s my favorite time of year you guys!!! For as long as I can remember, I have always loved the holiday season. The food, the weather (well, usually), the decorations, the clothes, I just love everything about it. In fact, I get so excited about it, that I will literally plan out my outfits for Thanksgiving and Christmas obnoxiously far in advance. Here are a few of my favorite picks for the season, because I couldn’t wait any longer to share them with you!
I love slouchy cozy sweaters like this one. And this one is the PERFECT shade of red for Christmas. Pair it with some metallic shoes, leopard flats, cute booties, whatever you want, it’s perfect for a casual holiday look!
I’m pretty into tassel earrings right now. In fact, I have several pairs on my Christmas list. I love this black and gold pair because they are a good neutral pair but still have plenty of glam to them.
I spotted this velvet romper at Nordstrom while shopping the other day and immediately fell in love with it. 1. It is velvet. 2. It is a romper. Enough said.
I have these gorgeous Loren Hope earrings and I am obsessed with them. They go with anything, and make a statement, but are still very classic.
I can’t get enough of the velvet trend. I have yet to buy anything velvet though because I just can’t decide what I want, and I don’t want to buy a ton of it because I’m not sure it’s one that will stick around (but I sure hope it does). This bag by this gorgeous sequined midi dress is. It comes in two other colors too!
How fun are these metallic silver sandals?! They are perfect for the holidays, but are also a great neutral option for when you want something besides a nude heel!
Remember what I said about sequins? This jumpsuit…love! I am a huge fan of jumpsuits for dressing up because they are a bit unexpected. Everyone assumes you have to wear a dress for a cocktail party, but jumpsuits are a great alternative, and as long as you get the right one, they are totally appropriate! This one would be great for a holiday party!
Metallic and tassels, need I say more? This bag by Rebecca Minkoff is so fun for this time of year.
This velvet blazer might be making it’s way into my closet soon. How cute would this be with a simple loose cami, jeans, and these gold flat mules?!
Yep, more velvet. I LOVE these shoes. Literally the only reason I am not buying them is because the heel is crazy tall and I wouldn’t wear them that often. But they are amazing!
Another pair of pretty tassel earrings. I love this blush pink pair. They would be so pretty paired with burgundy or navy.
I’m telling you guys, I sound like an ad for Rebecca Minkoff. But seriously, she has some amazing bags for this season. This dark red, shimmery bag is so much fun!
Another trend I have been into but haven’t purchased yet is the mule trend. I am loving this flat gold pair. These might just be the ones I purchase, plus, they are under $100! Who doesn’t need a pair of gold metallic shoes?!
I’m sure I’ll find more amazing pieces for holiday style, so stay tuned. I have a feeling I will be doing more than one post on this!
