I had planned on wearing this outfit out Saturday night with a few of my friends, that is, before the crazy storm hit (yes, another one) and my street was flooded. Luckily, I at least took the pictures before the storm came in so I got a blog post out of it! I bought this dress from Banana Republic when I first found out I was pregnant a few months ago. I’ve done a post wearing it before, but I had to do another so I could pair it with these killer shoes! I will wear these with things other than basic black, but I liked the idea of the shoes adding the detail to this look, because I am obsessed with them. I have been loving the lace-up heel and sandal trend, and these are just so perfect for summer and to transition into fall. Even though they are white, they have a snakeskin print worked into a few of the straps, making them a little more versatile. I kept the jewelry simple, just a couple of bracelets and some stud earrings. I added a little color with my Gigi New York clutch, simply because whenever I have a chance, I love to throw this clutch into a look!
