I’ve mentioned before that I love to layer, but it’s hard to do a lot of the time given the temperatures here in Houston. I wear this vest and my denim vest all the time to give my outfit a layered look without getting too hot.
I really love it over this henley tank. Normally I’d just pair it with a plain tank, but the buttons add a little more detail, and kind of make the tank feel less like an under garment and more like an actual shirt. Like, if I take the vest off, there is still enough detail to the top to make it a little interesting. (PS – this henley tank is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!)
I also picked up these high waisted skinnies from the sale. They are such a good deal, on sale for only $53! Since the look is so casual, I wanted to wear distressed denim with it, and these are perfect!
These open side booties are definitely one of my favorite purchases from the Anniversary Sale, and I love them with this outfit! I think they kind of add a cool factor to any outfit, plus I love that they have a low heel and the open side detail.
I finished off the look with minimal accessories, including my go-to black aviators and this Rebecca Minkoff suede satchel. This gorgeous bag was my splurge from the sale, and I love it! So perfect for fall.
