You guys…it just keeps getting hotter in Houston. It is becoming impossible to stay cool. Maxi dresses have always been my go-to in the summer because they are easy and lightweight. This summer I love them even more because, as an added bonus, they tend to hide what is left of my postpartum belly. I love adding a denim vest or jacket over a maxi to give it a layered look (although sometimes it’s just too hot). I always like to wear a simple flip-flop with them too, even though this one is a bit long on me. This is the first time this summer I’ve brought out this bag (purchased last summer) and I am so glad I did because it is one of my favorites. I thought the light color went well with the summery feel of this look.
