blazer / tee (white version here) / jeans / similar booties (also love this pair) / bag / sunnies
Let me just preface this post by saying that I do not think this is the most flattering outfit. This is one of those that looked better in the mirror and worse on camera. It happens from time to time, what can I say? Something about the jeans/boots combo isn’t working for me.
BUT I still wanted to share this look for inspo! This plaid blazer was one of my splurge items from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year. I purchased another Veronica Beard blazer prior to this one when it was majorly marked down, and I’m telling y’all, you cannot beat the fit of these jackets. They also rarely go on sale, so I wanted to make sure I grabbed this one during the Anniversary Sale. (I wear a 6 in their blazers.)
I think this one is SO chic for fall. I think it could be styled tons of different ways, but here I chose to dress it down by mixing a super affordable graphic tee with some under $100 jeans and ankle boots. These Levi’s tees seem to be everywhere right now, but I scored mine from Walmart. They also have the white one if that’s more your style. I actually love both colors, but I ordered different sizes of each and this is the one that fit me best (medium).
Some other ways I would style this blazer are with black leather skinnies and a black bootie that fits a little looser at the ankle, with white jeans and some nude or black pointed toe pumps, or with dark skinny jeans and a simple black lace-trim cami.
