Happy Thursday babes! How many of you have a long weekend this weekend?! We are headed to visit my husband’s family in Florida, and I’m looking forward to some beach and pool time, along with a cocktail or SEVERAL.
Today I’m sharing a few of my absolute favorite pieces for spring and summer. Every single one of these pieces as actually in my suitcase for our trip. They are all such good basics that go with everything.
Every year I buy a good black summer blouse, and a good white one. This is the black one I bought for this year and I love it. It look so cute dressed up with jeans and heels, or with shorts and flat sandals. The ruffle detail is super fun, and I like that it actually has a strap to hold it up, since so many off the shoulder tops.
These shorts are BY FAR my favorite denim cutoffs. I ordered them at the end of last season in both washes, and immediately was questioning why I didn’t order them earlier. They are a little bit of an investment, but so worth it. I am SO picky about shorts and I hate when the hug my thighs. These are high-waisted and loose fitting around my legs, which is exactly what I want in shorts.
My tote was probably one of my favorite purchases from last season, and I’m so glad to see that this trend is still here this year. I use this bag allll the time. Like, you guys will probably get sick of seeing it on my Instagram feed. But it literally goes with everything and is so perfect for spring and summer.
My sandals are new for this year, and are probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. They are like Birkenstocks, but softer, and cuter (at least in my opinion). I love the gold color because it’s a good but fun neutral. I think they also come in a blue and white striped option that’s pretty cute too.
