Sooo it’s already Sunday and I feel like the weekend JUST started. Anyone else?? Not sure I’m ready yet for the week to start!
I have really been loving anything with a mock neck or turtleneck lately, and this dress is no exception. I bought this dress several weeks ago when I freaked out thinking my future sister-in-law’s bachelorette party was right around the corner. If you read one of my posts from last week you already know this, but turns out I freaked out for no reason and her party is actually this coming weekend. The good news is, I am prepared! And actually, shopping for dresses when I did was perfect, because it was the holiday season and there were a lot of good options!
I usually go for black for stuff like a bachelorette party, but this navy was just too pretty. It’s also a nice change from black, and can transition into spring with some nude heels! Because my every day life is being a stay-at-home mom, buying true “going out” clothes is just not practical for me. I like to buy pieces that I can maybe wear again, and aren’t too specific for one type of event. I loved this dress becuase I can make it look a little edgy with some booties and a sparkly bag, or I can give it a more classy look with a classic pair of pumps. Plus, I feel like you can’t go wrong with lace! Oh and by the way, it’s under $100!
Since I’m wearing this for a bachelorette party, I did want to give it that edgier style, so I styled it with my These gorgeous statement earrings are my absolute favorites, so I’m always looking for a reason to wear them!
I hope you all had a good weekend!
xo, Loren
