Happy Sunday friends! I am SO sorry I’ve been so MIA this past week. We left on Thanksgiving morning for Florida to spend the holiday with my husband’s family and we have been going and going every since. Today we are actually headed over to Orlando with them to spend a few days at Disney World, so I’ll be a little MIA for the next couple days or so. I know I have been posting about sales like crazy, but I also have a bunch of holiday looks to share with y’all here, and this is one of them. I was a huge fan of the velvet trend last year, and certainly nothing has changed this year. Seriously, it’s like, if it’s velvet, I will buy it! As soon as I saw this navy velvet body-con dress from Lilla P I instantly fell in love with it. I believe it’s also 25% off right now, and it also comes in black. I sized up to a medium, but I think I may have been able to wear a small, so I’d say it runs true to size.
I love it paired with my favorite black sock booties for an edgy look. I also just got some white booties that I think it could look really cool with as well. And of course, classic black pumps or leopard pumps are always a good classic choice with a dress like this. Especially if you want to wear it to a more conservative holiday occasion, like an office party.
Oh and can we talk about these amazing earrings from Kendra Scott?! Really y’all, if you only buy one pair of statement earrings this holiday season, these are worth the splurge. The colors in them are so pretty, and allow you to pair them with just about anything. I have worn them with so many different pieces already. I also love that they aren’t too heavy, so I can wear them for a while without them pulling on my ears.
