Have you shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet? If you follow me on Instagram, you know it’s my favorite sale of the entire year. Fall is my favorite season to dress for, and for me, this sale sort kickstarts my fall content. I love the sale because you can grab amazing new pieces for the upcoming season ON SALE without having to wait until they get marked down at the end of the season.
The savings are usually pretty huge during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (we are talking like 30-40% off for a lot of things), so I love to stock up on fall and winter basics. That usually includes cozy sweaters, a couple of good pairs of denim, faux leather leggings (A MUST), and boots. I buy all of these pieces and mix and match them throughout the season.
Some of the biggest savings happen on Nordstrom’s in-house brands, like this Halogen sweater. Many of their brands are pretty affordable to begin with, but I grabbed this sweater on sale for right at $50 (will go up to $90 when the sale ends), and this is just a basic black slouchy v-neck I will get tons of wear out of in the coming months.
I also grabbed this recycled cashmere scarf from the sale for under $100. It comes in a bunch of colors and is perfectly soft and lightweight at the same time. I try to stick to lighter weight scarves because, one, I live in Houston, and two, the heavier ones are just too bulky!
