Dress: Michael Kors / Shoes: Michael Kors / Bag: Shaffer Los Angeles / Ring: Bauble Bar
A few weeks ago I strolled into the Michael Kors store to check out their handbags. This dress was on the mannequin and I immediately lost interest in any handbags and grabbed the dress and headed straight to the fitting room. I love the off the shoulder trend that is so huge right now, but I find it hard to follow because I have pretty wide shoulders. Sometimes I feel like the fabric looks like it’s pulling too much when it’s down around my shoulders. I was so happy when this dress actually worked, though I will say, I did size up to a medium to give me a little extra width since it’s already a flowy dress to begin with. While in the store, I also spotted these lace-up platform wedges that my mother-in-law convinced me I needed to go with the dress. 🙂 I kept the accessories simple for this look, since the shoes and dress already have some fun elements to them, and just went with a simple golden ring and my mini bucket bag.
