dress / jacket / heels / sneakers
Coming at y’all today with another fun look from Nordstrom! Is anyone else living in dresses right now? I swear it’s all I want to wear. Probably has to do with the fact that they don’t have a waist band…quarantine has not been kind to waist band. But lately I’ve been loving buying dresses that can be dressed up or down, in other words, with heels or sneakers.
I snagged this cute little satin number from one of Nordstrom’s brands, Leith. The best part? It’s under $100 AND works with heels or sneakers! Unfortunately, this one sold out super quick and the sizes are limited, so I’m going to link a few in a carousel at the bottom of this post that I’m also loving.
Here’s the thing, date nights and events that require heels have kind of been put on hold lately, or at least they are few and far between right now. So I’ve been buying dresses like this and wearing them with sneakers for a couple of reasons. One, dresses are way more comfortable than jeans. Two, dresses just make me feel pretty, but I don’t need to get dressed up, so I throw on my sneakers with them to dress them down. But I still wanted to show y’all this dress with heels!
Like I said before, this dress is from one of Nordstrom’s in-house brands. The others that I’m linking are also from some of Nordstrom’s own brands. I love shopping from Nordstrom’s in-house brands because the price is typically attainable (most are under $100) and you know you’re getting good quality items.
Happy shopping!
xo, Loren
