Jacket: Nordstrom (only $69!) / Cami: sold out, similar here and here / Denim: Citizens of Humanity / Shoes: Jessica Simpson / Bag: Sole Society / Belt: Gucci / Sunnies: Karen Walker
Confession: I have an addiction to denim jackets. Well, really, I probably have an addiction to denim in general, but jackets are the worst. I think I currently own five. I swear they are all different though! Seriously, one of them has Mickey Mouse embroidered on the back (pretty pumped about that one actually, just bought it for our Disneyland trip). This one is my latest addition to my collection. My other denim jackets are more of a fitted style, so I really liked that this one has an oversized fit to it, which seems to be the trend right now. Luckily this one comes in at just $69, so it’s not too big of a commitment to try out a new trend. I’m wearing small here, because I wanted to keep with it’s oversized style. But if you want it to fit a little more snug, just size down one!
Something else I’ve been loving lately are simple, chic, comfortable outfits, and this one definitely qualifies. I recently wore this look out to dinner with my husband for a date night. We weren’t going anywhere super dressy (we went to Seasons 52) but I still wanted to not look like a mom for date night, and this outfit made me feel a little sexier. The lace cami is perfect for layering but is also really pretty on its own. And since it was like 105 degrees out this day, this was the perfect way to dress for dinner. Black jeans always make me feel a little more chic, and these have the best, most flattering fit that I’ve found. Plus the material is super soft and stretchy, so they are comfortable too.
Hope you all have a good weekend! I’m looking forward to a girls’ night tonight. Happy Friday babes!
