Finally! I know you guys have waited a couple weeks for my to get this post live, and THANK YOU for your patience. I was busy trying to do laundry, and organize (and maybe purchase a few things) before getting everything ready to go for this post. We leave in a week for Disneyland, and here’s what’s going in my suitcase!
When we do Disney, I like to keep it super casual, and comfortable. We typically start the morning in the park when it opens, or shortly thereafter, then maybe come back to our hotel in the late afternoon to freshen up, chill out, etc, before heading back out to either Downtown Disney or one of the parks for dinner. Comfortable tops, jeans/leggings, and sneakers are pretty much all I pack, adding on a couple of jackets.
This is the first time we’ve gone to Disneyland in the winter. I know southern California pretty much has the same weather year-round (except for last time we went and they were in the middle of an INSANE heat wave haha), but it basically be perfect weather (low to mid-70’s) during the day and a little chillier at night (high 40’s/low50’s). Because of this I’m definitely overpacking, throwing in a few heavier top options for the evenings. Honestly, I like to change clothes for night anyway, because after hours of running around the parks, a fresh shirt just feels better.
Sorry for the quality of these pics, but I wanted to show you guys each planned outfit styled, not just as a flat-lay! You will see, I always tend to pack a lot of grey, black, white, red, and denim (it always goes with my Minnie ears)!
denim jacket (I added Disney themed patches to customize mine) / striped long sleeve tee / black distressed skinnies / Tretorn sneakers
cowl-neck tunic / faux leather moto leggings / denim jacket / slip-on sneakers
*I love this outfit for a travel day since I don’t have to untie the shoes at the security gate.
tunic sweater / faux leather moto leggings / Golden Goose sneakers (these are investment for sure but are by far the most comfortable non-athletic shoes I own!) / nylon backpack
Sidebar about this backpack for a minute. Last year, I took a leather backpack. Big mistake. It was heavy even empty, and just got heavier throughout the day. I have always loved the style of this backpack and when I saw they have a nylon option I knew it would be perfect for all our Disney trips since it weighs nearly nothing when it’s empty.
heart print pullover / black skinny jeans / Golden Goose sneakers / denim jacket
teddy jacket / Mickey sweatshirt (also love this one) / black skinnies / Golden Goose sneakers
Minnie sweatshirt / distressed skinnies / Golden Goose sneakers
black oversized thermal / high-waisted skinnies / slip-on sneakers
red tie-front thermal / high-waisted skinnies / slip-on sneakers
army jacket / “No Capes” tee / distressed skinnies / belt / Golden Goose sneakers
black and white sweater / distressed skinnies / Golden Goose sneakers
hooded tunic / faux leather leggings / slip-on sneakers
grey pullover / distressed skinnies / Golden Goose sneakers / Monsters University hat
lightweight thermal tee / distressed skinnies/ Golden Goose sneakers
What I’m planning to wear during the day…
What I’m planning to wear at night when it’s cooler…
Pretty much the only shoes and accessories I’m taking!
