Happy Hump Day guys! Listen, we are on day TWO of spring break and this momma is already tired. My kids have been CRAY y’all. At least tomorrow I think we have a playdate (full disclosure, I honestly hate that word) at a place the kids love, so hoping that will tire them out tomorrow. Yesterday we met my mom and sister-in-law at the mall for some shopping and lunch and my kids ran around like animals. ANIMALS Y’ALL.
Okay, this outfit I’m sharing today is one of my all-time faves. I had the hardest time taking these photos though because it was super cold the day these were shot, plus the wind was out of control. It was a bit of a struggle, which is why my hair is looking a little crazy.
ANYWAY, this matching set is SO GOOD. I love outfits like this because the matchy thing is such a trend, but I also love that you can break it up and wear each piece separately. How good would this blazer look with some white wide leg pants for a professional look, or with some distressed boyfriend jeans and pointy toe flats for a casual look? Then, these shorts could totally be styled with a classic white drapey button down and some heels, or with a denim jacket and sneakers. I’m telling you guys, the possibilities are endless!
Okay can we talk about the clear shoe trend for a sec? I fought this one hard. I remember when I was in high school and some girls were still wearing them and I HATED it. I thought it was sort of trashy. Well say whatever you want about me but I am here for it this season. I love these mules. They go with everything, and this particular pair is perfect to dress up or down because it has a cork heel and the heel height isn’t too high.
Last thing, this little straw bucket bag is the cutest thing ever. It’s a little on the small side, but SO cute you guys. The brand is the same as the round straw tote I use all the time every spring and summer, and that one has held up really well, so the quality is definitely top notch.
To all my fellow mamas, hang in there babes. Spring break is on the downhill slope.
