Sweater: A Pea in the Pod (loving this non-maternity sweater too) / Shorts: Loft Maternity (same shorts in regular sizes here) / Sandals: J.Crew / Bag: Tory Burch (similar) / Sunnies: Tory Burch / Bracelets: Kendra Scott, David Yurman / Ring: David Yurman
When I first found out I was pregnant, I immediately started browsing all the online maternity shops for shorts. My first pregnancy, I was in maternity clothes from October to March, so this pregnancy is completely opposite as far as seasons go. Last time I was wearing lots of sweaters, this go around I think I will be staying cool in lots of shorts and maxi dresses. Cute maternity shorts are hard to come by. Most of them are plain, the length is weird, and the fabric isn’t very good. I was so glad to find these printed shorts in Loft’s maternity section online. Finally, something not super boring!
I loved the idea of these with a laid-back summer sweater (at least for now, until it gets too warm). Since I am obsessed with these sandals from J.Crew, I threw them on with the outfit and grabbed my favorite summer bag from Tory Burch a couple of summers ago. My other new obsession, brow-bar sunglasses. I got this pair from Tory Burch as well, and thought they were the perfect last minute addition to this look.
