Happy Tuesday friends! Hope your week is off to a good start! All of Houston is currently in a rodeo frenzy since it started this week. For those of you who aren’t from Houston, every year we have a HUGE livestock show and rodeo. It’s kind of a big deal. I, personally, am not super into it, but I’m definitely in the minority. Each night after all the rodeo festivities, there is a concert. A lot of the artist are country concerts, but not always. Tonight’s concert is Garth Brooks, so it’s a huge deal because he’s definitely one of the most popular ones. My hubby is attending that one tonight. I chose to stay behind, since it’s not really my thing. I’ll sit at home with my mother-in-law and drink wine and eat takeout Chinese food instead.
Okay y’all, so I have to be honest, this is not one of my favorite looks I’ve ever shared with y’all. I LOVE the top. The color and the fit are so cute. I was trying to go for a transitional look with white jeans and brown booties, and I don’t think it went over all that well. I love all of these pieces separately, just not together. I don’t hate it, but this top could have been styled a lot cuter. ANYWAY, if you choose to buy this top, definitely size down. The armholes are pretty large, causing your bra to show easily. I’m wearing an extra-small here.
I get messages all the time about what my favorite white denim is. This pair is by AG, and is definitely a good option. My only complaint about these is that I wish they had a higher rise. I also love my white jeans from Madewell, but I didn’t wear them in this post because my pair is just slightly too big so sometimes they don’t look right. But, if you get the right size, then they are great! Another favorite brand is DL1961. If you struggle with cellulite, these are probably your best bet. Anyone else feel like you can always really see cellulite in white jeans?! Anyway, these are a nice, thick, stretchy material with a great fit and good coverage.
That’s about all I’ve got for y’all today because we have to pick up Mimi from the airport! Houston people, if you’re going to the rodeo tonight, enjoy!!
