Confession: I love a good red, white, blue look come summertime. With so many patriotic holidays during the summer, these colors just scream summertime to me. And not to worry, I have quite a few coming your way haha!
I bought this simple little striped tank a WHILE back just as an easy, comfy top to wear when it gets to be ridiculously hot here. I didn’t even think about the fact that it would be perfect for the 4th of July! And even better, it’s on sale right now for $10. $10 y’all. Scoop one up while you can!
Another piece I love for summer and a good “all-American” feeling look is a denim mini. Any denim, really, but I think pairing this tank with a denim skirt instead of shorts makes it a little less “plain” since it’s such a simple tank. My skirt is from Madewell and I love the fit because it’s not too tight, and it kind of flares out at the hem.
I’m loving this look paired with my espadrille sneakers. These are so perfect for summer because they are perforated and actually let some air through! They are also super comfortable. The size options for my exact pair are running low in the white, but I linked a few other options below.
