The holidays are right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited about it! This is by far my favorite time of year, and I love planning festive outfits! I am actually headed out to the Nutracker Market in Houston tomorrow, so I’m feeling extra festive! For those of you who don’t know what the Nutracker Market is, it is the biggest fundraiser for the Houston Ballet, and it is 4 days of a huge amount of vendors selling mostly holiday related items. They have everything from decor to food to clothes to toys, and vendors come from all over the country to sell their goods during this event. It is SO much fun, even my husband likes to go! ๐ I haven’t gone in a couple of years because I’ve been busy having babies, so I’m excited to go again this year and see what kind of fun things I can find!
Getting excited for the Nutcracker Market has made me want to really get into the holiday spirit! I love this look for a casual holiday outfit. You could even swap the heels for leopard flats, and achieve the same look if heels aren’t your thing.
Slouchy sweaters are my favorite. They feel so cozy, hide any flaws, and for me, they just make it feel like it’s the holiday season. This sweater is from last year, but I linked a few other options that are just as cute and cozy.
I think I mentioned this a few posts ago, but I am so obsessed with this uneven raw hem denim trend. I don’t know why. I think it’s just a fun way to update denim and change it up a little. This pair is from Gap, and they are super stretchy and comfy, plus they fit really well. Gap is one of my favorite places to buy affordable jeans (as long as you get a style with stretch) because they really do have a great fit and are good quality.
I am so excited about this purse for this holiday season. Unfortunately, I can’t link it, because it was purchased during the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve included several other fun, shimmery options in this post. I can’t wait to use this with umm…everything! Haha! ๐
xo, Loren
