Slowly, but surely I’m still sharing my looks from the rewardStyle conference a couple weeks ago. This look was one of my favorites. I changed into these jeans and this gorgeous top for the afternoon classroom sessions on day 2, and honestly I wish I could have worn this outfit longer! It was probably my favorite!
My yellow top was a splurge, but it was one that kept catching my eye over and over again, so I finally broke down and ordered it. The good thing is this golden yellow is a color that works for any season. I’ll be pairing it with some dark skinny jeans and leopard pumps come fall. Whether you style it for spring or summer, it definitely makes a statement. I love anything with a one shoulder neckline, so this was kind of a fun twist on that.
These white jeans have been on major repeat lately. I decided this year that as much as I want to pair white jeans with springy tops, MOST white skinny jeans just aren’t flattering. I have a pair that I wear when I need to, that is the best I’ve found so far. But for the most part, most white skinny jeans I’ve tried seem to show any cellulite you may have and always look unflattering in the front around the hips. I also have a harder time finding super high-rise white jeans.
Anyway, I decided to try a different leg style to see if I like them better. I am here to report that, for me, that was definitely a better choice. I love these white straight-leg jeans SO much, and I think they are so much more flattering (on my body at least) than white skinny jeans. The rise is also perfect!
