Okay, so apparently I have a thing for ponchos. I bought this one shortly after Christmas. Again, I love it for Houston weather because it has the option to be layered, or not. On a cooler day, I would just throw on a fitted long sleeve tee underneath. The day I shot this look was a bit warmer so I was able to get away with just a tank underneath. I have so many sweaters that are really too warm for Houston since it doesn’t get all THAT cold here…so pieces like this really are perfect for my wardrobe. This particular poncho is kind of fun because depending one the lighting or what you pair it with, it can look grey, brown, or green. It just gives you lots of options when it comes to styling. I kept the look super casual, with just jeans and my grey suede ankle booties. I felt like this hat was the perfect accessory to finish off the look, then added a little bit of color with my orange tassel necklace.
